The BackBlast:

9 PAX met in the chilly Chieftain gloom for a somewhat unscripted Pinto led Diamond 11’s beatdown; a workout that popped into YHC’s head whilst enduring the fun of this past Saturday’s Strudel-led Warrior beatdown.

The disclaimer was given, and the warmup commenced …

Warmup:

The Thang:

PAX Met by the shovel flag, and instructions were given.  In 11’s format; ascending and descending PAX began the first exercise by the shovel flag (10 Burpees OYO).  Pax then ran to the middle of the far side of the parking lot for the second exercise (1 LBC OYO).  Pax then proceeded to the parking lot opposite the shovel flag for the third exercise (10 Merkins OYO).  Then PAX proceeded to the entrance of the parking lot for the fourth exercise (1 Squat OYO).

PAX then proceeded around the diamond pattern; decreasing the number of Burpees and Merkins and increasing the number of LBC’s and Squats by 1 with each round (hence the name diamond 11’s; the reps from exercises on opposing sides of the diamond always equaling 11).

Prayers for items spoken and unspoken.  Looking forward to Iceman’s VQ on Wednesday!  We always have each other’s backs; always (that’s what brother’s do)!   We decided to use our lights to avoid red-eye in the photo but completely washed out Dutch; better aim next time gentlemen.
