(Japanese and Americans). With a total of 400ft of Block carry’s are Riffle Carry’s (400ft was the height of Hacksaw Ridge). Desmond Doss was awarded the medal of honor. And saved all these men without carrying a weapon or killing anyone in battle. After each successful delivery, he reportedly said, “Dear God, let me get just one more man.”
