The BackBlast:

Thanks to the generosity of many, as a region we raised nearly $500.00 for Burpees for Vets in honor of Veterans Day! Thank you to our veterans in the region (Foxhole and Hummer) for your sacrife and service and to the countless other veterans of our country both with us still and those who have passed on for risking and giving up so much to protect our country.

Instead of the normal run, because today was Veterans Day and because we had a debt of 500 burpees to pay based on our fundraising efforts, 10 HIM posted for a run with pain stations of burpees sprinkled in!

It still wasn’t easy but many hands on deck made the work lighter, as each PAX was responsible for 50 burpees. We completed a small loop around the harleysville baseball complex while stopping for 5 burpees at the halfway point of the loop and then back at the flags. Ended up with a little over a 5k and 50 burpees. A great way to start our morning!
