I will cut to the chase. The Braves finally made it to AND KICKED SOME ASStros in the World Series to take home the Commissioner’s Trophy to Atlanta for the first since 1995! This beatdown was dedicated to America’s Team, 2021 World Series Champs, The Atlanta Braves!

Warmup: Who cares? The good stuff was in THE THANG!

THE THANG:

Mosey to the field where the BoP (Board of Pain) was waiting with exercies spelling out BRAVES WIN.

Woody (being the keenly observant HIM that he is) quickly asked, what do all these numbers mean? Well let me tell you…

B urpees – 13   (for how old YHC was when the Braves last won the World Series)

R everse Crunch – 44 (for Hammerin’ Hank Aaron who passed away earlier this year)

A lternating Shoulder Taps – 95 (for 1995, the last time the Braves won the World Series)

V -ups – 12 (for Jorge Soler, MVP of the 2021 World Series)

E gg Beaters – 88 (for the 88 games that the Braves won this year during their unexpected rise to the top of Major League Baseball)

S quat Thrust – 26 (for the number of years since the Braves last World Series win)

W erkins – 14 (for the unprecedented number of consecutive division titles that the Braves won from 1991 to 2005)

I mperial Walkers – 21 (for the year 2021)

N o Surrender – 5 (for Freddie Freeman – because even if you don’t like the Braves, you gotta like Freddie Freeman)

The PAX performed the prescribed exercises for the prescribed counts at each base, moseying between each base (so a total of 4 times the prescribed count…with the exception of the egg beaters which I quickly called an audible to break the 88 down into four sets of 22…because Strudel said his eggs were sufficiently beaten early on in the rotation.)

Though this ended up being pretty ab heavy, we finished with a few minutes let for some 6MOM including:
