The BackBlast:

YHC realized a few weeks ago that I somehow have made it through 3+ years in F3 without doing an Accounting themed workout yet and since Accounting is SO MUCH FUN, I figured it was time to fix this glaring gap in my Weinke repertoire.

Disclaimer given (Accounting is not typically considered dangerous unless you start trying to get creative with your accounting; but this workout could be…) and accepted.

Started our warmup by outlining the entire row of parking spots – up and back. Pax mosey up the spot line, side shuffle left, mosey backwards, side shuffle left, etc etc to the end of the lot. Plank for the six by the porta john. Then do the same thing back to the right to end up where we started (again planking by another porta john)…keeping things balanced.

Circle up to continue the warmup:

Weedpickers

Hillbillies

Toy Soldiers

Side Straddle Hops

Arm Circles

Circle Arms

Next was a short mosey over to the PULLUP BARS (not the playground as Woody so aptly pointed out). We’ve been doing 10 pull-ups for a while now, so I thought it was time to bump up the goal to 15 pullups. PAX plank while we each have a turn knocking out our 15 pullups. the 50% increase was felt and duly noted.

Next the PAX moseyed over to the pavilion where the trusty Step2 whiteboard was waiting for our Accounting 101 lesson to begin. As explained there are two big and basic rules of accounting that everyone should and must know:

  1. Debits are on the left and Credits are on the right
  2. Debits and Credits have to equal

So to illustrate this, the PAX proceeded to perform the following (all in cadence except for the Burpees), debit exercise, credit exercise, debit exercise, credit exercise, etc, etc:

D erkins (15)                                                        Cr unchy Frog (15)

E 2K – Left side (25)                                           E 2K – Right side (25)

B urpees (15)                                                        D ips (15)

I mperial Walkers (25)                                       I rkins (25)

T high Masters (40)                                            T winkle Toes (40)

S quat (30)                                                            S prinklers (30)

Everyone having survived this rigorous first class, time for a recovery mosey around the perimeter of the soccer field, then gather behind my truck for a quick extra credit coupon lesson.

We had 6 PAX so three went on the left side of my truck to be debits and three went on the right side to be credits, each PAX with a cinder block.

First, the debits did 15 Curls while the credits held the coupons in the “up” curl position, then flap jack to let the credits do their 15 Curls

Next and following the same fashion, the debits did 10 Overhead presses, while the credits held the coupons overhead, then flap jack to let the credits do their 10 overhead presses

Next, the debits did 15 Kettle Bell swings, while the credits held their coupons in the air chair squat position, then flap jack to let the credits do their 15 kettle bell swings.

Finally back to Curls as before, however the count was increased to 20!

Mosey over to the grass for a round robin 6MOM featuring:

LBCs

Boxcutters

High Dolly

Dying Cockroach

and a couple more that currently escape me (sorry Woody and Strudel)!

Countarama

Namearama

CoT

Back to taking a knee (Thanks alot Delta variant…)….:(
