The BackBlast:

9 PAX endured the 75 degree and muggy gloom to run the Iditarod. No riding the sleds here, we are dogs who pull them.

To loosen up the dogs we started with…

10 Huggy Bears IC, 10 Weed Pickers IC, 5 Motivators and 20 Overhead claps.

Once the dogs were loose and ready to go we headed over to the sleds and broke up into groups of 2 with 1 HIM running alone.

Each team had a sled and 5 coupons(30lbs average). Dog 1 loaded up a sled with 1 coupon and pulled it across the field and back while dog 2 did Curls for our Girls. Dogs 1 and 2 switched positions when dog 1 returned.

Once dog 2 returned dog 1 added another coupon to the sled and off again while other dogs did Overhead Press.

3 coupons pulled while other dogs did Squats

4 coupons while other dogs did Merkins

5 coupons while other dogs did least favorite ab exercise.

We cut 5 coupons pulled (150 lbs) short due to time. The field was a slight downhill to start with but on the return leg it was uphill and you could feel the difference. I can’t be sure but I swear I heard some grunting, huffing and puffing from Lowes.

We finished with everyone calling out their least favorite ab workout which included…

15 Full Body V-Situps OYO- Lowes

15 Box Cutters  IC- Strudel

15 Hello Dolly’s IC- Drop Cloth

10 Leg Circles right/left OYO – Mr. Miyagi
