7 #HIM descended upon the scenic Alvin C Alderfer Park (aka The Warrior) for our 3rd workout of the new Saturday AO! With several PAX traveling, earlier in the week I had wondered if I’d be posting solo but was pleasantly met with our highest numbers at the Warrior since the launch earlier in the month! Guess it was time to finish planning the workout huh!?!?!?!?

Disclaimer was given in earnest with the presence of an FNG EH’d by a great recent addition to the group – Foxhole!

Warm-a-rama:

Mosey around the parking lot with Buttkickers on the first long stretch of the lot and High knees on the other long stretch, then mosey over to the pull-up bars for the morning Pull-up wake up call. PAX planked in a row taking turns going down the line each calling out their 10 Pull-ups.

Mosey over towards Oak Ridge Elementary via the nice township trail that runs through the AO, with a stop along the way for the 6 to catch their breath. 5 merkins OYO and then hold plank.

At Oak Ridge we found a nice beautiful, long, sturdy wall ideal for a BTTW competition. T-Claps to Strudel , barely edging out Sofa for the win!

The Oak Ridge playground has alot of swings and they are the perfect height for SWERKINS!!! Finally, after 2 years in SE PA, I found a spot where swerkins are feasible!

It’s been two years since I’ve done a swerkin…and I could tell…because they were hard.

At this point Strudel suggested going up to 20. Luckily that hard ass wasn’t the Q today, so we went back down to 10.

Mosey back over to pick up the township trail again, loop around and head back to the soccer field near the flags and partner up for a good ole fashioned, Dora 1-2-3!

Partner teams completed as a group 100 Merkins, 200 Squats and 300 LBCs. While Partner 1 ran to the other end of the field and back, Partner 2 was completing the exercise and then flapjack and pick up with the count. There were talks of a threatened Merlot Splash from our FNG, but he was able to hold it together!
