The Thang:

PAX met back at the flags.  YHC set up cones at 5 and 10 parking space intervals.  PAX then proceeded to do 4 sets of suicides to get the blood pumping.

Then it was time for me to test my gimpy arm to see if it could hold up to the abuse that I had planned for it.  PAX dropped and did 5 merkins on my down.  The pain was pretty excruciating, and it was pretty evident that it wasn’t going to hold up to the onslaught of what I had planned, so an audible would be required (don’t Q it, unless you can do it).

PAX then did a nice long mosey, stopping along the way to do 20 LBC’s IC.  PAX then continued their mosey to the back parking lot, and down the long driveway/hill.  Originally YHC had planned to do burp-back mountain here, but a heavy load of burpees would not be in the cards.  Instead we did squat-back mountain; one PAX at the bottom of the hill/driveway doing squats while the other PAX did Bernie Sanders up the driveway to the pavilion, and a mosey back down (picking up the count of the PAX’s partner), rinse and repeat to 300 squats.  PAX then did big-boy mountain in the same format, with a total of 100 big-boy sit-ups between the pair of PAX, and a mosey up and back.

PAX then moseyed back to the shovel flag and held a plank, but because YHC had a gimpy left arm, I had the PAX all plank on their right arm only for one minute.  I then gave the PAX the opportunity to do the same with their left arm, or to modify as I did by holding 6 inches for one minute.

A few minutes were left for Mary, so I called 20 LBC’s IC, and Strudel called 20 American Hammers IC.

COT: Prayers and sympathy for our brothers that are dealing with personal loss.  Prayers for our brothers that are traveling, and for those that will be handing more of the parenting load this week.  A reminder to not be afraid to ask for help when we need it, that is what we are all here for.
