Well this is better late than never, but this past Saturday in the crisp fall air of Lower Salford, 4 PAX slayed the Kracken and other evils that were unleashed from Greenwood, SC. YHC arrived early to measure out the 400 meters and 50 yards needed for the beatdown. The dew was heavy and my shoes were soaked before the $!#% EMOM timer even sounded!!!

The beatdown (they just keep getting more fun don’t they)???

  • 50 Kraken Burpees (3 hand release merkins to a burpee = 1)
  • 400 meter run
  • 50 BDE burpees (burpee, to a Bonnie Blair/jumping lunge (1 on each leg), to a squat = 1)
  • 800 meter run
  • 50 Bonnie Blairs/Jumping Lunge (right leg-left leg= 1)
  • 1200 meter run

All of this while getting rudely interupted by the EMOM timer every two minutes to stop where we were in the rep count, run 50 yards and then pick back up where we left off.

Strong showing by all PAX, and while some were a bit wobbly, no one actually fell down.
