The BackBlast:

Well today was the day where Pinto officially passed the AO Flag for the Arrrowhead over to Woody who is taking on the Site Q responsibilities going forward! Excited to see where Woody takes this great AO next!

It was a rainy and unseasonably warm for Mid-November (60 degrees) morning in the Harleysville gloom. Before the run, we were talking about how fortunate we have been really at all of our AO’s over the past year for not having many workouts in the rain. Well, this was not one of those fortunate days but it still wasn’t too bad (could have been 35 and raining).

For the route, it was an out and back to Alderfer Park (aka the Warrior) just to make sure Double D knows how to get there should he choose to post on a Saturday some day.

Headed out on the trails towards Gruber and Kulp roads, past the pond and down the hill. Hung a right after the bridge and continued on the trails following the creek. Hung a right to head towards Sammy’s and Wawa. Crossed the street carefully, then continued on towards our target destination, the Warrior. Flipped it right at the halfway mark for a 45 min run and headed back the way we came.

I believe everyone got between 4.5 and a little over 5 miles!! The gap between slowest and fastest is shrinking!! Nice work men!
