The BackBlast:

8 #HIM gathered early to stretch and warm-up before the Week 1 IPC “fun” officially began. With a nation wide average time of 37 minutes as of Wednesday AM, I knew we needed to get started right away so we didn’t go over time.

The kid’s Step-2 whiteboard/easel was ready to go displaying the exercises and counts, the lantern was shining bright(ish) so all could see, the EMOM WOD timer was set, and we were off!

Total Elapsed Time:

EMOM – 3 Burpees

…in between…

50 Hand-Release Release Merkins

100 Leg Raises

150 Jungle Boi Squats “2 Spoons Style”

200 Big Boi Sit Ups

250 Stationary Lunge Steps

Strong work men! This was the first IPC workout for three of the PAX present and most likely the hardest F3 Workout they have endured thus far.

COT: Some of the PAX were not able to finish the prescribed workout in the allotted time (didn’t want to go over on time as we have some that need to leave pretty quickly after 6:15). This was a good reminder/lesson on failure. We all will fail at times and not accomplish what is expected of us and/or what we expect of ourselves. The sooner we learn to not fear failure to instead to see it as a growth/learning opportunity the better off we will be. YHC wishes he had learned that lesson long ago.

Most stayed for onsite coffeteria!
