The BackBlast:
YHC found himself as Q both times this week and with several PAX out for quarantine and various reasons, it was guaranteed that I would be the only PAX present both Monday and Wednesday, so today’s workout was dubbed groundhog day and the only difference was that Spike joined me instead of Hops, and I did burpees first today (where I ran first on Monday). Oh, and no time for 6MOM this time…
Warmup:
Big mosey loop around the Allentown road side of the park
Circle up in the original meeting spot near Basketball courts
SSH
Weedpickers
Imperial Walkers
Arm Circles
Circle Arms
Copperhead Squats
Mosey over to the playground for some 11’s:
Starting with 10 plank jacks (4 ct) and 1 Pull-up and ending with 1 plank jack and 10 pull-ups (broke up the last 10 pullups into two sets of 5 so could actually complete them this time!)
Mosey over to the far side of the park to the Godshall road driveway for Burpback Mountain!
Burpback Mountain (how appropriate that once again, only two of us were there ?):
YHC started off with burpees at the bottom, while Spike Bernie Sanders’d it up the “mountain” and then back down – 5 times. At that point we were at 51 burpees.
Then switched places.
During my 5 times up and down the mountain, Spike got us to 90. Then switched and once we got to 100, we did one last time up and back down the mountain together.
Recovery walk up the “mountain” and then mosey back over to the flag for some Coupon Curls (full size cinders):
