The BackBlast:
4 PAX gathered at The Chieftain on what was (hopefully) the last really cold morning of the winter (19 degrees)!
Started off the warmup with a mosey around the various parking lots in the park, then circled up for Circle of Pain warmup including:
SSH
Weedpickers
Windmills
Peter Parkers
Arm Circles
Circle Arms
Mosey back over to the flag and partnered up for the Thang. It had been a while since I broke out the kids’ Crayola whiteboard so I thought it was time! One partner moseyed down to the end of the parking lot and back while the other partner completed the suggested exercise – flap jack and repeat until the song was over. Playlist consisted of songs from two of my favorite modern day country music artists, Florida Georgia Line and Dierks Bentley.
Florida Georgia Line:
Meant to Be -> Mountain Climbers
Round Here -> Merkins
Cruise -> Egg Beaters
Get Your Shine On ->Forward Lunges
This is How We Roll -> Flutter Kicks
Dierks Bentley:
Free and Easy -> Monkey Humpers
Lot of Leavin’ Left to Do -> Calf Raises
Every Mile a Memory -> Big Boy Situps
Somewhere on a Beach -> Bobby Hurleys
Gone -> Flying Squirrels
No time for 6MOM, but plenty of core work incorporated into the Thang!
