PAX met at the flags and a traditional DORA 1-2-3 commenced. Since we were an odd number of PAX I mirrored Sandtrap (completing the exercises and moseying along-side him). In traditional DORA fashion the PAX did a combined 100 Merkins, the 200 LBC’s, and 300 Squats.
Once the DORA was completed; PAX grabbed coupons for the second part of the workout which I have deemed 3-2-1 AROD (the anagram of DORA 1-2-3), because as you might have guessed, the exercise counts were done in reverse. And since famous Yankee A-Rod was well known for his arm strength; we focused on building up our arms. The exercises were a combined 300 squats (with coupon), 200 Overhead Press, and 100 Curls.
Since we had a few extra minutes at completion we took a nice long mosey, made our way over to the pavilion for 15 Dips (IC) and 20 Seal-Claps (IC). We finished with a bit of Mary including Flutter-Kicks, Rosalitas and Annies.
COT: Prayers for things spoken and unspoken.
Thoughts: I was up until about 1am and was running on little sleep; but the accountability to be there for my brothers pulled me from the fartsack where I might have otherwise slumbered. The fellowship of being together; the faith imparted in the COT are what F3 are all about. Was my body tired; yes, but my spirit was invigorated.
PAX then moved out into their day. I went to my son’s baseball game. We then met Lowes and Baconator to help Strudel put up his basketball backstop. Strudel, Lowes, and Duke (and Duke’s Brother and Step-Father) then came over to help me move a Piano and a few refrigerators (frosty beverages were enjoyed amongst the PAX as a reward for a hard-day’s work).
